Transportable Pressure Equipment – TPED

FORCE Certification A/S is an approved Notified Body (ID 0200) within conformity assessment according to Directive 2010/35/EU on Transportable Pressure Equipment – TPED.

We are appointed by the Danish Safety Technology Authority  as notified body in accordance with Order no. 685 of 10 June 2013.

Our Notification is specified in the EU database NANDO.

FORCE Certification A / S carries out tasks in connection with:

  1. Design of new equipment, alteration and repair of Pi-marked equipment (receptacles, tanks, etc.) for TPED Article 12 and the procedures in ADR.
  2. Reassessment of conformity of equipment (receptacles, tanks, etc.) manufactured according to earlier rules aimed at Pi marking after TPED Article 13.
  3. Periodic inspection of Pi-marked equipment (receptacles, tanks, etc.) for TPED Article 12 and the procedures in ADR.

FORCE Certification A / S is further Authorized by the Danish Working Environment Authority in accordance with Order 289 of 24 April 2001 on transportable pressure equipment, as amended for the following inspection tasks:

  1. Periodic inspection of equipment (receptacles, tanks, etc.) manufactured according to earlier rules in accordance with § 9 of the Order.
  2. Alteration and repair of equipment (receptacles, tanks, etc.) manufactured according to earlier rules under §§ 11-12 of the Order.
  3. Control of filling stations under §§ 14-19 of the Order.
  4. Design, alterations and repair and periodic inspections of certain tanks, etc.. designed for compressed air (filling or emptying) or the like according to §§ 29-34 of the Order.
  5. Periodic inspections of portable extinguishers and bottles for breathing equipment by Section 36 of the Order.
